All four apartments are furnished very similarly with feature walls, art work, solid wooden floors, leather sofas, stylish fitted kitchens and small but modern shower rooms. The kitchens have wooden work surfaces and various appliances including microwave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster and all necessary cutlery/crockery etc. The kitchen is found within the lounge area which also contains a dining table with chairs, so that everything is conveniently to hand.

Each apartment has a 32” flat screen television in the lounge with over 30 channels to choose from. The bedrooms also boast a 19” flat screen television, again with over 30 channels.
All apartments are one bedroom and sleep two people in an excellent quality double (4’ 6”) bed. Duvets are used on the beds and towels are also provided along with tea towels and cloths.
All curtains are lined and made for each window so that the best nights sleep can be afforded.
The soft furnishings are all chosen carefully to ensure that the apartments are minimal and stylish whilst remaining comfortable and cosy.

On the ground floor at the front of the house is the ‘Darwin’ apartment. The ‘Darwin’ is the only apartment with a three seat sofa (which is also a bed in case it is needed for a child/friend etc. notice must be given prior to arrival). The video attached will take you on a guided tour of the ‘Darwin’.

At the rear of the house also on the ground floor is the ‘Newton’ apartment. Slightly smaller in its dimensions, the ‘Newton’ overlooks the garden area and has the shower room directly off the bedroom. Take a look at the video for a tour of the ‘Newton’.

On the first floor looking out over the front of the house is the ‘Holcroft’ apartment. Please see the video for a guided tour of the ‘Holcroft’.

Lastly is the ‘Gilmour’ apartment. On the first floor at the rear of the house. With the shower room off the bedroom. Views of the garden can be seen from the lounge/kitchen. Take a tour of the ‘Gilmour’.

WHAT ELSE?

‘Homerton House’ has a back garden accessible to guests. The garden is practical and private with table and chairs for relaxing in the warmer months. There is also a barbecue during the summer and an assortment of potted shrubs.
The garden is accessible via an alley way from the front of the house and has automatic lighting when dark.

Apartments are serviced weekly, guetsts who are with us for over one week will be informed of the day for servicing which includes a full change of bed linen and towels and a general ‘tidy round’ (where possible).

Each apartment has its own doorbell so that our guests may welcome their own guests if desired, without disturbing anyone else.

A payphone can be found on the first floor of the house. With mobile phones being common place, individual phones are not provided in the apartments. We do however provide a webcam and headset so that you can use ‘Skype’ or another alternative on your laptop via the wireless internet. (We are happy to advise you on how to set up on skype).

A ‘drop off’ point can be found at the front of ‘Homerton House’ so that guests can safely unload luggage etc. We ask that vehicles are not occupying the ‘drop off’ point for any longer than 15 minutes so that others may also benefit. Advice is available if long term parking arrangements are needed, charges apply.

The welcome packs which are supplied with each booking, contain items such as tea, coffee, milk, bread, juice, eggs, biscuits, margarine, fruit etc. (Contents of the welcome pack may vary).

Colin and Michelle will always help wherever possible to ensure that you have the best time possible whilst with us at ‘Homerton House’. Although the apartments are self catering, we are happy to provide extras on arrival such as Champagne, fresh flowers or a more substancial welcome pack with groceries etc. Please ask on booking for more details.
